I am intrigued by this story, and look forward to reading more from this author.
A story with a lot of twists and turns to keep you entertained. The character interaction is good and a great plot. It starts you out with a high intensity tension, and just gets better from their. This seems to be a good v.s evil story with several key players, yet midway through, the original characters have changed. The only character to remain the same is Hitomi, yet the transition is so seamless that it doesn’t affect the story line.
I am, however, disappointed by how things ended between Hitomi and Val. I felt their were a lot of things left unsaid between the two of them, that made it feel like an integral part of the story was missing. I hope it comes to light in the next book in this series.
