An easy read.  A good plot and story line. Callida seemed to get over everything but guilt to quickly to be believable.  There is not much emotional development.  Callida seems to not feel anything in some places.  I loved the realistic descriptions of the swamp and the animals found within the Everglades.

WOW!  Mr. Stills has outdone himself with this one.  If you loved Zumia, you will absolutely love Yasuna.  Grady, Tuyen and Xaria’s children have turned up the heat and are on an epic adventure to explore across the sea.  Lots of new characters and plenty of action to keep you hooked and leave you wanting more!

I was sucked into the story line from the start.  In fact I was up way past my bedtime just to see how it ended.  I love how the author linked everything together with the web, however I feel there should be more emotion and depth in some of the characters.  For example, Douglas should have shown a lot more emotion where everything he sees is unfamiliar and new to him.  Plus with a broken leg, the mobility he had was not very believable.

WOW!  This series just keeps getting better.  Maddox the Mad Dragon and Calysta the Grand Priestess have sparks flying in this one. Calysta is going to have her hands full dealing with Maddox.   I am hoping Kyran finds his mate in the next book as he has gone through so much already.   This is a “Must Read” series.

I love this series.  Brooklyn Ann has outdone herself with this one.  The sexual tension alone is enough to set the pages on fire.  Then you add a baby into the mix and the whole thing has the ability to turn explosive.  I can’t wait to see what Brooklyn comes up with next.

This story starts out a little slow, but it does pick up the pace and becomes intriguing the further into the book you get.  The only thing missing is the action, yet there is a buildup of anticipation for a huge showdown that hopefully will appear in book 2.

I fell in love with Griffin’s character, with his innocent demeanor and mysterious background.   The more I learned about Griffin, the closer I felt to him.  His background and the things he is still learning about himself gives you a glimpse of the Hell and torture that he had to have endured in his past.

Suspenseful and full of twists.  This tale will keep you turning pages until the end.  There are some similarities between Hellborn, Wraithborn and Congenital Defects.  To get the most out of this one I would highly recommend reading Wraithborn first, then Congenital Defects, and finally Hellborn.  Although they are all able to be read individually, the first two books will give you a greater insight to the events occurring in Hellborn.

An intriguing Dark YA tale.  A great story line and awesome character interaction combined with a twisted mystery make this a unique and thrilling tale.  Rose is snobbish, but eventually does redeem herself. Michael was by far my favorite character.
This is a Must read for all YA dark fans.
